What does the fire icon 🔥 mean?
These are the highest quality products recommended by us. They come directly from the factory that produces and supplies the stock to retail stores. These goods are equivalent to retail goods right down to the fabrics, composition, weight, stitching, cutting and even accessories like zippers. To put it simply, they are the exact same thing you will get if you purchase it from retail.
Products with the fire icon usually have a slightly higher price tag. The factory needs to profit from their sideline; if they don’t make a decent profit from it they might as well deliver the goods to the brands at a guaranteed profit, and thus there is a slight premium placed on them.
What does it mean for products without the fire icon️?
These products may have very minor imperfections that are not noticeable and may only be detected upon very close inspection by an industry professional. In short, it doesn’t really matter to an individual. Unless you decide to take it to a store for close examination.
Some may be goods that were ordered by the brands to be destroyed after failing the QA/QC process. They may have minor imperfections in the stitching, a slight misalignment of the material, and incorrect fold or crease; these imperfections do not affect the overall function, aesthetic and quality of the end product. In fact, some of these imperfections may have slipped the QA/QC inspection and can even be found in retail goods!
Some brands may assemble the end product in-house; for us to also do these, resourceful suppliers manage to hunt down the rest of the component parts. They purchase a retail product to study and fabricate it on their own from the parts they managed to source. The end product made in this way is not equivalent to retail but still a very good item as close to 99% of the components are original or the same.
